ALL AMERICAN RENTALS
All American Rentals, Inc. was formed seven year's
ago and has personnel with over 150 years of combined industry
knowledge. Safety is very important to the Company and it
strives for perfection. Last year the company achieved an
88 workers compensation modification rate.
All American Rentals, Inc. ended its first fiscal
year with 197,300 labor-hours worked and reported zero accidents.
The Company has developed an infrastructure program consisting
of, but not limited to, assigning responsibilities, starting
a program, assessing our program via safety and health programs,
defining a workplace assessment, taking action on the program
and maintaining consistency on a routine basis.
All American Rentals, Inc.designed its own Safety
Manual utilizing bullets and topics from a large variety of
industry Safety Handbooks and Illness and Injury Prevention
Programs. In addition, it added various levels of reporting
such as accident investigations, safety inspections and reporting
and personnel protective compliance reporting.
All American Rentals, Inc. has also, uses various
safety videos offered throughout the industry to add variety
to its weekly tailgate meetings. Topics as outlined in the
EUCA -Safety Manual include safety attitude, personal protection,
backs, first aid, and MSDS. At the Company's monthly safety
meetings, safety awards are presented to deserving departments
and individuals. The Company provides the staff with a hot
breakfast, and presents the meeting as an open forum to discuss
"real" safety issues which individuals have experienced. The
lessons learned from their experiences are discussed to assist
in eliminating possible recurrences.
All American Rentals, Inc., makes time available
at the monthly meetings for invited guests who are experts
in their profession. These guests have included equipment
manufacturers, service/safety officers, and fire department
& police department personnel.
All American Rentals, Inc. offers all employees First
Aid and CPR Classes at no cost (they are even paid for their
time to attend) First Aid and CPR classes. As a result, an
impressive 70 % of the employees hold current First Aid and
CPR cards.
All American Rentals, Inc. provides on-site training
and certification of operators various lines of construction
equipment as required by OSHA. The equipment includes forklifts,
cranes, manlift/boomlifts, scissor lifts, and wheel loaders
to name a few. The National Council trained and certified
instructors are required 40 hours of class time and hands-
on training for each fleet item and must pass written and
operator/safety demonstration tests prior to being certified
themselves on any given piece of equipment. Our instructors
have trained and certified over 400 operators since 2006.
